I am not sure if you are aware of the MNA, an organisation that has been established over many years. You can sign up for their very extensive and comprehensive news-letter which comes out fortnightly, it is full of shipping news, plus a lot of history. It is sent out by e-mail and the news-letter is in pdf format.
