I am sorry to inform you that ex 3rd/Eng Ray Purvis has passed away.
Ray was diagnosed with Mesothelioma some 9 months ago and sadly passed away last Sunday.
I understand that the funeral is on Wednesday 25th April and I give my apologies I am unable at this late stage to attend.
Our condolences to Ray’s family and thank you to daughter Lynsay for informing me of this sad event.
