On our recent short holiday in Suffolk, I was staying nearby Ex LOF apprentice and Master Chris Bailey. We met with him and wife Kate and had a very enjoyable couple of hours whilst having a meal at a local restaurant.
Chris was a Cadet/Apprentice with LOF in the early 1970’s and remained with the company through to the end in 1997 when he was Master.

He then sailed as Master with Shell Tankers and has been retired some 4 years.
