I am sorry to post the sad news of the passing away of Ex 3rd/Eng Tony Tierney.
Tony sailed with LOF during the 1970’s and early 1980’s
He lived in the Dimchurch/Romey Marsh area of the UK. I had spoken with him some time ago before he became ill.
Recently (another post) I met with Chris and Kate Bailey who informed me that Tony was unwell and today (01st Sept) my thanks to Campbell Dobie who sent me the attached photo’s.
I have made contact with Tony’s sister and once I know what arrangements are being made will post up asap.
